Opera Australia

Priscilla makes her main stage debut as Associate Director for Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House, with Bluebeard’s Castle in 2021.

Bell Shakespeare Company

In May 2021,  Priscilla joins Bell Shakespeare for the first time, directing their Play In A Day series – a lively script reading series celebrating rarely read classics.

Queensland Theatre

Priscilla makes her directing debut at Queensland Theatre, in 2021 with her production of White Pearl by Anchuli Felicia King.

Oz Asia

Priscilla’s production of White Pearl opens the Oz Asia Festival, Adelaide 2021.

Sydney Theatre Awards

Priscilla’s Sydney Theatre Company of White Pearl by Anchuli Felicia King won the Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Ensemble.

2018

February 2018

Priscilla was appointed Revival Director for Opera Australia’s NSW Schools Tour of The Magic Flute, which will tour across the state in 2018.

Priscilla has written and directed Still Point Turning: The Catherine McGregor Story which has its world premiere in Wharf 1, Sydney Theatre Company in April 2018.

Rockend Berlin New Music Opera Award

In May 2017 Priscilla won the national Rockend Berlin New Music Award, from The Opera Foundation for Young Australians, which involved travelling to Berlin to study new music opera at the Komische Oper under Barrie Kosky.

Priscilla was appointed resident director of Sport For Jove’s Winter Season, 2017. This involved co-directing two productions with Damien Ryan (The Tempest and Romeo & Juliet), and assistant directing Suzanne Dowling’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Priscilla was one of fourteen emerging artists who were awarded the Belvoir Artist’s Workshop Program 2017. This involves developing a relationship with Belvoir through building professional mentorships within the company, attending productions, company runs and use of rehearsal space and resources.

In October 2016 Priscilla was invited to attend the Melbourne Director’s Lab, sponsored by TheatreWorks, Melbourne Theatre Company and the Melbourne Festival. This week long laboratory based on the Lincoln Director’s Lab involved workshopping with thirty directors (both nationally and internationally), masterclasses, panels, Q&A’s and attending Melbourne Festival productions.
